"Black Magic Woman" is one of my favorite photos from the chess images that I have done. My vision for this particular piece was to have the black queen towering dominantly over the 'dead' white king. This particular image, along with the others in my chess series have turned out to be great experiments in lighting technique.

very cool as to how you can interpret it to your life... for me, the 'black magic woman' would be my mom because she is ALWAYS trying to control my life and sometimes i just feel like the 'dead white king' helpless and at the end of my rope... just great
